Think Sandhurst and usually you'll think of the Royal Military Academy based there, frequented by Royals Prince William and Prince Harry. It is a small town (and often referred to as a village) close to Bracknell and south of Reading in Berkshire.
The name is Anglo Saxon in origin and refers to it's soil which is actually sandy in nature. The "hurst" part of the name is used in it's traditional sense to mean a wooded area.
